Justin Bieber reveals rare disorder behind facial paralysis
In a video posted to Instagram, Bieber revealed he is suffering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a disease that occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of your ears and can result in paralysis, according to the Mayo Clinic. The syndrome is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox and shingles.

Microplastics found in fresh Antarctic snow
Researchers gathered samples of snow from 19 different sites in the Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica and discovered plastic particles in all of them. Most of the particles were from a type of plastic called polyethylene terephthalate, which is found in clothing and water bottles.
