Ricky Stenhouse Jr. wins longest Daytona 500 in history
Stenhouse won the Daytona 500 in double overtime and under caution on Sunday in the longest running of "The Great American Race." The two overtimes pushed the 65th running of the event to a record 212 laps, a dozen laps beyond the scheduled distance and a whopping 530 miles.
It provided anxious moments before a landmark celebration: The first Daytona 500-winning team co-owned by a Black man and a woman.

Biden, in Kyiv ahead of war anniversary, vows support as long as needed
Air raid sirens blared across the Ukrainian capital as Biden visited Kyiv, but there were no reports of Russian missiles or air strikes, with some social media channels indicating Russian fighter jet activity on the Belarus border.
Zelenskyy said he and Biden discussed long-range weapons during the visit, while the White House said Biden would announce more sanctions on Russia and military support for Ukraine.

Uber to introduce 25,000 EVs in India amid clean car push
The EVs will be bought by Uber's fleet partners from Tata Motors, India's biggest electric carmaker, Prabhjeet Singh, president, Uber India and South Asia told Reuters.
India's federal and state governments are pushing for greater electrification of shared taxis, an area currently dominated by Uber's local rival BluSmart, an electric mobility start-up.

Maersk nears complete Russia exit after selling logistics sites
Maersk still needs to sell four tug boats under its Svitzer brand, a process that is ongoing, a spokesperson told Reuters. After that, Maersk will not have any business in Russia.
In August last year, Maersk sold a 30.75% stake in Russian port operator Global Ports Investments to Russia's largest container operator Delo Group.

Record 6,542 guns intercepted at US airport security in ’22
Guns have been intercepted literally from Burbank, California, to Bangor, Maine. But it tends to happen more at bigger airports in areas with laws more friendly to carrying a gun, Pekoske said. The top 10 list for gun interceptions in 2022 includes Dallas, Austin and Houston in Texas; three airports in Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; Atlanta; Phoenix; and Denver.
