Byju's has yet to submit its financial statements for fiscal year 2022, which led to the resignation of Deloitte as its auditor and the exit of three board members last month. New Zealand begins criminal trial over White Island volcanic eruption
Most of the victims were tourists from countries including Australia, the U.S. and Malaysia. There were 47 people on the island when the volcano erupted, many of whom were badly burnt by searing gas and ash.

Sudan govt boycotts regional peace talks in Ethiopia
After nearly three months of conflict, the fighting between Sudan's two generals has concentrated mainly in Darfur, the capital Khartoum, in the Blue Nile state near Ethiopia, as well as in South Kordofan state. No political solution has emerged despite initiatives and ceasefires that weren't systematically respected.
