It is not clear how the fire started or how much forest has been burned. No casualties have been reported.
The fire comes two years after a week-long inferno destroyed thousands of hectares of woodland on Mount Kilimanjaro's slopes.

22 countries keen to acquire Iranian Kamikaze drones that are creating havoc in Ukraine
The information was announced during a gathering at Imam Hussein University by Major General Yahia Rahim Safavi, a former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and top military aide to Iran’s Supreme Leader.
Iranian-made drones have garnered much attention due to their success against Ukrainian targets over the past few weeks.
The deployment of drones in the Russia-Ukraine conflict has already been well documented, causing analysts to conclude that this conflict indicates the start of a new type of warfare.

China's Xi secures historic third term in office, unveils new top party officials
Xi Jinping secured a historic third term as China's leader on Sunday (Oct 23) and promoted some of his closest Communist Party allies, cementing his position as the nation's most powerful leader since Mao Zedong.
The Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party elected Xi as its general secretary for another five-year term, Xinhua reported, tilting the country decisively back towards one-man rule after decades of power-sharing among its elite.

NBA: Giannis Antetokounmpo beats Milwaukee Bucks free-throw record
The two-time MVP scored 44 points on 17-21 shooting, including 2-3 from three. Giannis was also 8-13 from the free throw line. While his free throw percentage continues to be one of the few weaknesses of his game, Giannis did set the Bucks’ franchise record for career made free throws.
In addition to his 44 points, Giannis had 12 rebounds and three assists. Amazingly, Giannis did all of this in just 28 minutes of play.

Tens of thousands march in Berlin in support of Iran protests
Berlin hosted the biggest crowd of Iranians outside their country Saturday in 43 years and reportedly about 80,000 to 100,000 joined the demonstration in a show of solidarity with protestors inside Iran.
They chanted slogans and held up signs with themes mostly about "freedom" and sang about women's rights, economic hardships, environmental issues, freedom of speech, and even the rights of the Afghan refugees in the country.

Ukraine faces widespread outages after wave of Russian attacks
More than a million households in Ukraine have been left without electricity following Russian attacks on energy facilities and other areas across the country, as intense fighting continues in the southeastern region of Luhansk, Donetsk and Kherson where Russia has been struggling to stop renewed Ukrainian advances.
