Harry served first as a forward air controller in air attacks from 2007 and 2008, and later flew the attack helicopter between 2012 and 2013.

China suspends social media accounts of COVID policy critics
The bans targeted 1,120 accounts on the Sina Weibo social media platform as the Chinese New Year travel rush starts amid a surge in coronavirus cases and hospitalisations.
The company “will continue to increase the investigation and cleanup of all kinds of illegal content, and create a harmonious and friendly community environment for the majority of users," Sina Weibo said in a statement on Thursday.

Nigeria to bar cash withdrawals from government accounts
The new rules, which will apply to federal, local and state officials, are aimed at combating money laundering and corruption and are in line with government efforts to move Africa's most populous nation toward a cashless economy
NFIU analysis found that from 2015 to 2022, officials withdrew nearly 1.1 trillion naira ($2.45 billion) from government accounts - most of it exceeding previous withdrawal limits.

Nearly 200 people in Himalayan town evacuated after homes develop cracks
For years, experts have warned that large-scale construction work, including hydro power projects, in and around Joshimath could lead to land subsidence – the sinking or settling of the ground surface.
In recent weeks, cracks have been reported in more than 600 houses in Joshimath, prompting local authorities to move around 193 residents to safer locations, including hotels and guest houses, government official Himanshu Khurana said.

Iran’s supreme leader replaces police chief after protests
Radan, born in 1963, was deputy police chief from 2008 to 2014 and went on to lead the police’s Centre for Strategic Studies. He was replaced as deputy by Ashtari, who was made the force’s commander in 2015.
