The gesture is part of the normalization of ties between the UAE and Israel in 2020, brokered by then-President Donald Trump, which has seen hordes of Israelis travel to the gulf country as well as a surge in business and trade between the two.

Classified files found at Biden's former private office
The documents with classified markings from the Obama Administration were found as the Washington DC office was closed.
Under US law, all government documents must be handed over to the National Archives once a person leaves office.

Europe and polar regions hit hardest by global warming
Temperature records were broken in many western European countries, including the UK, with summer heatwaves and intense droughts affecting many parts.
Even the normally cooler month of October in Europe was about 2°C above average last year.
While it was extremely hot in the west of the continent, colder weather in northern and eastern countries resulted in the year as a whole falling to the second warmest in Europe.

Magnitude 7.5 earthquake rattles northern Australia, Indonesia
The 7.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded in 95.2km depth at Kepulauan Tanimbar in Indonesia, less than 600km north of Darwin.
The undersea quake occurred at a depth of 97km, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre says.

Prince Harry accuses Camilla of ‘dangerous’ leaks to media
  In the ghostwritten memoir, Harry, 38, describes the couple's acrimonious split from the royal family after their request for a part-time royal role was rejected.
    The television interviews are certain to pile more pressure on the royal family. Harry is also appearing on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”     
Royal officials haven't commented on any of the allegations, though allies have pushed back on the claims, largely anonymously.

International donors pledge over $9 billion to Pakistan
It came after UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called for major investments to help Pakistan recover from what he called a "climate disaster of monumental scale".
On the sidelines of the conference Pakistan reiterated its commitment to completing a bailout programme with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
It came as the IMF has yet to approve the release of $1.1bn which was originally due to be made in November last year.
