World's oldest ever dog celebrates 31st birthday
According to The Guinness World Records Bobi is the World's Oldest Living Dog and is also the oldest canine ever recorded.
More than 100 people, some travelling from overseas, are due to attend the festivities which will include plenty of local food and a dance troupe which Bobi will dance with.

Cyclone Mocha heads to Bangladesh, Myanmar coasts as thousands flee
According to India's meteorological office, Cyclone Mocha was packing winds, which is at a speed of 220 kilometres per hour (136 miles per hour), similar to a category four hurricane.
The cyclone is expected to weaken before it makes landfall between Cox's Bazar and Sittwe, which is on Myanmar's western Rakhine coast on Saturday.

Portuguese parliament votes to allow limited euthanasia
Under the new law, people over 18 years of age will be allowed assistance in dying in cases where they are suffering from an incurable disease.
The new law only allows euthanasia for people who are mentally fit to make the decision and are suffering "lasting" and "unbearable" pain.

Inflation in Argentina leaves families struggling to feed themselves
Argentina’s annual inflation rate has already surpassed 100% a year. The price of food has increased even faster, leading many to rely on soup kitchens to get at least one hearty meal a day.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Páez managed to make ends meet as a street vendor. She was forced to sell everything amid strict quarantine measures, and now spends much of her time trying to figure out how to feed her daughter.

Elon Musk names Linda Yaccarino new Twitter CEO
Yaccarino's appointment comes as the platform has been in turmoil, with mass resignations and some companies pausing advertising, since the Musk acquisition in October.
She previously spent 11 years with NBCUniversal where she most recently had been chairman of global advertising and partnerships at NBCU. She resigned from the role earlier Friday morning.
