'Threads' trends on Twitter, but 'Trending' tab missing on Threads.
Much like Twitter, the Threads app features short text posts that users can like, re-post and reply to, although it does not include any direct message capabilities. Posts can be up to 500 characters long & include links, photos & videos up to five minutes long.

White House cocaine mystery deepens as culprit may never be ID’d
The discovery forced a brief evacuation of the White House and a Hazmat unit was called to the executive mansion.
President Biden and the first lady had left the White House two days earlier for Camp David, where they were joined by their son Hunter, who has admitted to a past crack cocaine addiction.

China hosts Russian warships that passed by Taiwan, Japan
The two frigates - Gromkiy and Sovershenniy - made port at the financial hub of Shanghai. Both vessels belong to Russia's Pacific Fleet, headquartered in Vladivostok.
During their seven-day visit, the ships will conduct naval drills with the Chinese navy in Shanghai, that will include practices on formation movements, communication and sea rescues.
