World's oldest footballer Kazuyoshi Miura extends career @ 56
Affectionately named 'King Kazu', Kazuyoshi Miura began his career in 1986 with Brazil's Santos as Japan had no professional league. He then went on to play for six more Brazilian clubs before returning to Japan with Verdy Kawaski. Further spells include club Genoa, Dinamo Zagreb, Kyoto Purple Sanga, Vissel Kobe, Yokohama FC, and now Oliveirense
